Kai-Siang Chen

Regional Field Scientific Consultant Manager, APAC at Inscopix

Kai-Siang Chen has a diverse work experience in various scientific and research roles. Starting in 2010, Chen worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Zürich, followed by a similar role at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2011. From 2009 to 2012, Chen was an Undergraduate Researcher at the National Taiwan University. In 2012, Chen joined the University of California, Berkeley as a Graduate Student, where they focused on analytical methods and utilized programming languages such as Matlab, Python, R, and C++. During this time, Chen also served as a Graduate Student Instructor in 2013.

In 2018, Chen transitioned to the industry and began working at Inscopix, Inc. as a Field Scientific Consultant. They continued to advance within the company, taking on roles such as Senior Field Scientific Consultant in 2020 and eventually becoming the Regional Field Scientific Consultant Manager for APAC in March 2021. Overall, Chen's experience spans from research in academia to scientific consulting in the industry.

Kai-Siang Chen completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Life Science from National Taiwan University from 2008 to 2012. Following that, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, from 2012 to 2017.
