Kevin Zitelli

Senior Research Scientist at Inscopix

Kevin Zitelli has worked in a variety of research roles since 2010. Kevin began as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Pittsburgh, where they used fast-scan cyclic voltammetry to examine deficient striatal dopamine transmission in a rodent model of traumatic brain injury. After receiving their Masters degree in 2016, they continued their research as a Research Associate at Carnegie Mellon University, where they expanded experimentation into alternative mouse models of Parkinson's Disease and piloted new cohorts for behavioral and electrophysiological characterization of various optogenetic manipulations of basal ganglia circuitry. In 2017, they joined Inscopix, Inc. as a Research Scientist I, and later moved up to Research Scientist II.

Kevin Zitelli earned a Bachelor's Degree in Neuroscience and Biological Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh in 2013. Kevin then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Neuroscience from the same university, which they completed in 2016.
