Shan Huang

Senior Research Scientist at Inscopix

Shan Huang has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. At the University of California, Los Angeles, they served as a Postdoctoral Scholar, Graduate Student Researcher, Teaching Assistant-Systems Neuroscience, Venture team of Business of Science, and Teaching Assistant - Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience. In their Graduate Student Researcher role, they applied multiple in vivo imaging techniques, mouse behavior assays, and genetic manipulation approaches to study the molecular and cellular mechanisms of learning and memory. Additionally, they were a Staff Research Associate at the University of California, Los Angeles. In 2022, they began working as a Research Scientist II - Translational Neuroscience at Inscopix, Inc.

Shan Huang attended Nankai University from 2007 to 2011 and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology. Shan then attended the University of California, Los Angeles from 2012 to 2017 and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Neuroscience.
