Ajay Kumar Gupta, Ph.D., serves as the General Manager-Head of Product Development at Insecticides (India) Limited since May 2024. Prior to this role, Ajay held positions including Senior Manager-Product Development at PI Industries Ltd (April 2021 - April 2024), and Senior Manager-Field Development at FMC Corporation (January 2018 - October 2020), where responsibilities encompassed leading product development and field biology initiatives. Ajay's extensive career also includes significant roles at DuPont, Monsanto Company, and Bayer Crop Science, focusing on field trials, product evaluation, and technical training within agricultural entomology and plant pathology. Academic achievements include a Ph.D. in Agricultural Entomology and a Master's degree from G. B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology.
