Mike Simonds

Mike Simonds has a diverse range of work experience in software engineering and management roles. Mike is currently the Director of Software Engineering at Inseego Corp, where they lead a team of 50 engineers and 7 scrum teams in transitioning a legacy application to microservices and containers. Prior to this, Mike served as the Director of Software Engineering at National HME, Inc., where they successfully completed four major projects in their first five months and upgraded five individual applications, resulting in increased speed and utilization. Mike also has experience as the Director of Quality Organization at LoanBeam, where they implemented testing automation and standardized automated test suites, saving the company over $100,000 a year. Throughout their career, Mike has held various management and leadership roles, such as Manager of Software Development at Concentra and Senior Director of Application Development at QA Support. Mike also has prior experience as the Vice President of Engineering at RelationEdge and Senior Manager at CBRE. Additionally, Mike has entrepreneurial experience as the Founder/Owner/Developer of Sportsrant.com, where they successfully built a sports enthusiast community with over 10,000 members. Mike began their career as a Developer/Analyst on the AT&T account at Paragon Computer Professionals. Mike Simonds attended Hawaii Preparatory Academy from 1982 to 1986 and obtained a high school diploma. Mike then enrolled at the University of Phoenix - Dallas Campus, attending night school and pursuing a Bachelor of Science in ECommerce Business from 2003 to 2005. Continuing their education at the same institution, they obtained a Masters in Management Information Systems and Services from 2007 to 2009.
