Federico Mingozzi

Federico Mingozzi is a seasoned research professional with extensive experience in gene therapy and biotechnology. Currently serving as Research Director 2 at Inserm since January 2016, Federico previously held key leadership positions at Spark Therapeutics, Inc., where responsibilities included Chief Science & Technology Officer and Chief Scientific Officer from October 2017 to November 2023. Additionally, Federico was the Head of the Immunology and Liver Gene Transfer Unit at Genethon from January 2013 to January 2020 and an Associate Professor at Pierre and Marie Curie University during the same timeframe. Federico's educational background includes a Patient Oriented Research Training program at the University of Pennsylvania in January 2008 and a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Marketing and Finance from Drexel University, completed in January 2006.
