Damon Lay

Damon Lay is an actuary and commercial product management expert with over twenty-five years of experience in the insurance industry. Currently, they serve as the U.S. Insurance Product Lead at INSHUR, overseeing taxi, livery, and rideshare products. Damon has held various significant roles, including Director of Business Insurance at Farmers Insurance Group, where they managed commercial multi-peril performance and product development. Their early career included serving as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy and experience as an actuary and underwriter at multiple insurance firms. Damon holds a B.S. in Physics from West Virginia University Institute of Technology and has completed studies at Navy Nuclear Power School.
