Chris Hughes

Chris Hughes is an Associate Director and Principal Advisor at Inside Infrastructure, where responsibilities include providing strategic advice for corporate-level water management and overseeing project management and procurement for government and utility organizations. With a focus on critical infrastructure water planning, Hughes has managed significant projects in Western Australia and South Australia, including roles as study manager and owner's engineer for major water dam and pipeline projects at Olympic Dam. Prior experience includes senior environmental engineering roles at Sinclair Knight Merz and URS Corporation, where expertise encompassed contaminated site investigations, remediation planning, and environmental monitoring across multiple projects in Australia and Ireland. Chris holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil and Environmental from the University of Adelaide.
