Chia-Chun Fu

Chia-Chun (JJ) Fu is a Principal Machine Learning Engineer at Blue River Technology, with experience spanning various roles, including Lead Machine Learning Engineer and Senior Research Scientist. Since September 2017, Chia-Chun has also served as an Insight Artificial Intelligence Fellow at Insight Data Science, focusing on TensorFlow applications in mobile speech-to-text deep learning models. Additionally, participation in the Global AI Hackathon involved developing emotion recognition technology using webcam inputs and machine learning tools such as Python and Microsoft Azure. Prior experience includes working as an Applications Engineer at Izon Science Ltd, specializing in nanoparticle characterization, and obtaining a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where involvement in a structured management program provided a foundation in business education. Chia-Chun also holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from National Taiwan University.
