Ali Mohammed al Alawi

Ali Mohammed Al Alawi is an experienced cybersecurity professional with a robust background in security operations and management. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Cybersecurity Operations at Insight Information Security since July 2022, Ali also holds a significant role as Director of the Security Operations Centre at the Information Technology Authority in Oman, a position held since March 2009, following various roles including Secure Technologies Team Leader and Information Security Analyst. Previous experience includes serving as Director of Security Operations for the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications from August 2019 to July 2022, and as an Engineer in a private entity from July 2008 to January 2009. Ali's academic foundation includes a Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering from the Higher College of Technology, completed in 2008.
