Anton Ponomarev

Anton Ponomarev, CFA has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Anton started their career in 2007 as an Analyst at American Appraisal Associates. In 2008, they worked as an Analyst at CQS. From 2010 to 2013, Anton worked as a Senior Associate, Research at Pareto Investment Management Limited. Anton then joined Insight Investment in 2013 as a Senior Associate, Quantitative FX Strategies. In 2016, they took on the role of Portfolio Manager at Insight Investment and held this position until 2017. Anton's most recent role at Insight Investment was as the Head of Engineering - Quantitative Strategies, which they started in 2018.

Anton Ponomarev, CFA, holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge, obtained in 2009. In 2010, they completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Financial Mathematics at Cass Business School. Anton also attended the Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2016, where they obtained a Stanford Ignite degree in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies. In 2020, they received a Graduate Certificate in Artificial Intelligence from Stanford University. Anton has also obtained various certifications, including being a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder from the CFA Institute in 2014 and completing several courses related to machine learning, neural networks, and blockchain specialization through Coursera. Additionally, they hold an Investment Management Certificate (IMC) from the CFA Institute, obtained in 2012.
