Nianhong Han

Nianhong Han is a Senior Sensor Engineer at Kairos Aerospace since October 2022, specializing in sensor calibration, data acquisition, system automation, and the development of flight test data acquisition systems. Prior to this role, Nianhong worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Iowa State University from August 2018 to March 2023, focusing on UAV experimental systems and environmental control systems. Nianhong served as Chief Engineer of Flight Test and Flight Test Software System Architect at JiuCheng General Aviation Design & Manufacture LTD from September 2016 to July 2018, where development of a Python-based flight test software system was achieved. Nianhong also held the position of Structural Design Engineer at Airbus for a brief period in 2011, contributing to wing structure design and optimization. Nianhong earned a PhD in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Iowa State University in May 2022, a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis in 2016, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Airworthiness Technology and Management from Beihang University in 2012.
