Batala McFarlane

Batala McFarlane currently serves as the Interim Executive Director at Friends of the Children - Twin Cities since May 2023. Additionally, Batala McFarlane has been the Publisher of Insight News, Minnesota's largest ethnic publication and one of the oldest Black-owned businesses in the state, since January 2002, contributing to its mission of serving Minnesota's African and African American communities for nearly 50 years. Batala McFarlane earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Morgan State University between 1992 and 1997.
