Augusto Grinspan

Augusto Grinspan, MD, currently serves as Chief Medical Officer at INSIGHTEC since May 2023, overseeing various medical affairs organizations dedicated to scientific communication and clinical development programs. Prior to this role, Augusto held leadership positions including Co-Chapter Lead at the Medical Affairs Professional Society from July 2021 to June 2023, and Vice President of Medical Affairs and Head of LATAM at Merck KGaA from April 2018 to May 2023. Augusto's extensive experience spans multiple companies, including Teva Pharmaceuticals, Acorda Therapeutics, Novartis, and Janssen, where contributions encompassed medical strategy, clinical development, and scientific communication across several therapeutic areas. Education credentials include a degree in Neurology from Universidad Nacional de Córdoba and an MD from the same university, along with specialized studies in Health Economics.
