Benny Hagag has a diverse and extensive work experience in the medical device industry. Benny began their career at General Electric Medical Systems, where they worked as a project leader at Elgems from 1998 to 2000 and as a project manager in functional imaging from 2000 to 2002. Benny then joined Z-Kat as an engineering manager from 2002 to 2004. In 2004, Benny became the Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Initiatives at MAKO Surgical Corp, where they played a key role in international sales expansion and strategic planning until 2010. Benny continued their career at MAKO Surgical Corp as the General Manager and Vice President of International Business for the Asia Pacific, MEA, and Canada regions from 2011 to 2013. Benny co-founded MAKO Surgical Corp and served as the General Manager and Vice President of International Business. Benny then joined Stryker Asia Pacific in 2017 as the General Manager and Vice President of Mako until 2020. Benny also worked at Stryker as the General Manager and Vice President for Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Canadian markets from 2014 to 2020. Benny's most recent position is at MicroPort Orthopedics, where they serve as the President since 2020. Additionally, they will join INSIGHTEC as the VP of Strategic Development in 2023.
Benny Hagag obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, from 1986 to 1990. Benny later pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Business Administration from the same institution, from 1999 to 2001.
