Joyce Liu

Joyce Liu is a Director of Engineering and Tech Lead at InsightFinder. Joyce has over three years of experience in the software engineering field.

Joyce started their career as a Business Intelligence Developer at iQIYI.com. Joyce then became a Research Assistant at the Czech Technical University in Prague. After that, they became a Software Engineer at Aegle Analytica Inc. where they designed a data model that stored structural and narrative data using archetypes and templates. Joyce also implemented the data model and internal logic using Java and Jooq in a Linux environment, using Spring boot framework to provide APIs to access the data model and SQL-like querying language for easier accessing and analyzing data. In addition, they implemented middleware to translate between traditional EHR data and openEHR data to make the system compatible with existing systems on the market.

Joyce then joined InsightFinder Inc. as a Director of Engineering/Senior Software Engineer, Tech Lead/Senior Software Engineer. In this role, they designed and implemented supporting systems and products around the data model and customers’ demands using nodeJS.
