Yelizaveta Aleksyuk

Yelizaveta (Kit) Aleksyuk is a professional with extensive experience in Geographic Information Science. Currently serving as Lead GIS Specialist at Insignia Environmental since August 2021, Yelizaveta has previously held roles including Lab and Research Assistant at the Human-Environment Dynamics Lab, where responsibilities included developing a text-based database for research and managing financial coordination with university administration. Additionally, Yelizaveta worked as an ICM Student Intern at UCSB, unifying campus organizations into an interactive map, and served as Secretary for Together in Transition, assisting seniors with transitioning to independent and assisted living. Yelizaveta holds a Master of Science degree in Geographic Information Science from the University of Redlands and a Bachelor of Arts degree in the same field from UC Santa Barbara.
