An attorney and former Special Agent of the United States Secret Service, Christopher Falkenberg founded Insite Risk Management in 2002 to provide advanced security services to global corporations and private clients. As president of Insite, he established the multi-disciplinary holistic approach to security that is the hallmark of the firm, and leads ongoing development of the progressive security practices deployed by the Insite team.
Mr. Falkenberg is a recognized authority in the security industry and has contributed to articles published in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Financial Times, Forbes and Town & Country, among others. He also has appeared on ABC News, CNN, NBC News and The Today Show, providing expert commentary and advice on topical security issues.
Mr. Falkenberg, a graduate of Kenyon College and Columbia University School of Law, both with honors, is a member of ASIS International, the Association of Former Secret Service Agents, the Overseas Security Advisory Council, the International Association of Private Sector Inspectors General, FBI Infragard, the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and the American Bar Association. He is admitted to the New York bar and the bars of the U.S. District Courts in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
Prior to establishing Insite, Mr. Falkenberg spent five years working in several areas of the U.S. Secret Service, including securities fraud, counterfeiting and bank fraud, and provided security for the President, both in this country and abroad. He also was a litigator with the New York law firm Davis Polk & Wardwell, where he conducted corporate internal investigations and was involved in a wide variety of civil and criminal matters.
