Junguo (Joe) Zhou, PhD, DABT has a diverse and extensive work experience in toxicology and nonclinical safety. Junguo (Joe) currently holds the position of Executive Director and Head of Toxicology at Insmed Incorporated, where they are responsible for managing personnel, budgets, timelines, strategies, and the execution of toxicology support for various portfolio programs. Prior to their current role, they worked at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson for over a decade, progressing from Senior Scientist to Scientific Director, Nonclinical Safety Leader, and Head of US Nonclinical Submissions. Before that, they gained experience as a Senior Scientist and Project Leader in Regulatory Toxicology at Bayer CropScience. Dr. Zhou started their career as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences. Overall, they have demonstrated expertise and leadership in toxicology and has contributed to the development and submission of nonclinical data for various pharmaceutical products.
