Oluwaleke Fakorede has a diverse range of work experience in the technology industry. Oluwaleke co-founded and served as the CTO of GoWagr starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Insomnia Labs as the VP of Engineering, where they led a team of engineers in developing and managing decentralized applications on blockchain platforms. Oluwaleke also served as a Backend Engineer at Insomnia Labs, designing and implementing the backend system for an NFT Marketplace.

Before joining Insomnia Labs, Oluwaleke worked at Nestcoin as a Blockchain Integration Engineer, where they focused on integrating blockchain technology into the company's systems. Oluwaleke also has experience at Yellow Card App as a Platform Engineer, where they developed a distributed system for processing cryptocurrency deposits and withdrawals. Additionally, they played a key role in implementing a feature for USDT on the Tron network.

Earlier in their career, Oluwaleke served as a Software Engineer at Bundle Africa, where they developed a cryptocurrency withdrawal platform and contributed to building a real-time cryptocurrency market rate service. Oluwaleke also developed and maintained a Flutter app for trading, saving, and investing cryptocurrencies and fiat.

Prior to Bundle Africa, Oluwaleke worked as a Full Stack Developer at Sport Compass, developing Ruby On Rails applications and maintaining the front-end website. Oluwaleke also automated integrations with social media platforms like Facebook and Meetup.

Oluwaleke's experience at Terragon Group involved working as a Data and Software Engineer, where they developed and deployed microservices using NodeJS, Java, and Python. Oluwaleke also created mobile SDKs for accurate ad targeting and built data pipelines and engineering tools using AWS services.

At the start of their career, Oluwaleke worked as an Android Developer at Sweqit, where they developed ride-sharing apps and built apps using Kotlin, Dependency Injection, and Android Architecture Components.

Oluwaleke Fakorede received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with Mathematics from Obafemi Awolowo University between 2016 and 2021. In addition to their degree, they also obtained several certifications. In August 2017, they became a Google Associate Android Developer. In May 2018, they became a Certified Web Developer and a Volunteer Learning Community Mentor at Andela. In the same month, they also became a Community Mentor in the Google Africa Scholarship Program and a Meetup Facilitator at Andela.
