Kayur Patel

Kayur P. has a wealth of experience in the fields of engineering, web development, IT consulting, teaching, photography, and journalism. In 2020, they were appointed as the Director of Engineering at 280 CapMarkets. Prior to that, they were a Senior System Engineer at Prosper Marketplace from 2015-2020, where they architected and developed an enterprise job orchestration/scheduling solution. From 2013-2015, they were a Systems Engineer at TransUnion, where they transformed support for a 300+ employee site, resolving system and customer issues promptly and introducing a high level of customer service. From 2013-2011, they were a Curriculum Developer at PathWays PA, where they planned courses that were taught to adults in the healthcare industry. From 2011-2008, they worked as a Web Developer at KJP Web Design, an Independent IT Consultant/Contractor, and a Photographer at Kayur Patel Photography. Finally, from 2008-2004, they were a Teacher at the School District of Philadelphia and a Managing Editor, Design at The Daily Collegian.

Kayur P. received their Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Penn State University in 2007. Subsequently, they went on to earn their Master of Education in Special Education from Chestnut Hill College in 2010.
