Tala Issa has a diverse work experience from various companies and educational institutions. Tala worked as a Laboratory Technician in 3D Cell Culture at InSphero starting from March 2023. Prior to that, they were a Research Scientist in Molecular Nanotechnology at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW from October 2020 to September 2022. Tala also worked as a Research Assistant in BioPhysics at the Adolphe Merkle Institute in 2018. Tala had a brief stint as a Customer Care Representative in Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacology at ALAM PHARMACY in 2018. In 2017, Tala worked as a Research Assistant in Food Biotechnology at the INRA French National Institute for Agricultural Research. Before that, they were a Master Thesis Student in Pathology, Toxicology, Genetics, and Nutrition at the same institution in 2016. Tala has also worked as a Student Laboratory Assistant in Chemistry and a Bachelor Thesis Student in teaching Physics at the Saint Joseph University of Beirut in 2014.
Tala Issa obtained their Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences with a specialization in Biochemistry from the Saint Joseph University of Beirut. This was achieved between 2011 and 2014. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Food Chemistry at the same institution, completing it from 2014 to 2016.
