David Yates

David Yates, CPA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across major corporations. Currently serving as a Finance & Accounting Leadership Consultant at Inspire Brands since May 2023, Yates previously held significant positions at WarnerMedia from December 2018 to July 2022, including Vice President, Head of Finance - Operations & Administration, overseeing a $2.4B annual operating budget, and Vice President, Controller, managing the Global Business Services organization. Prior to WarnerMedia, Yates worked at Turner Broadcasting from December 2003 to November 2018, where responsibilities included leading multiple accounting functions and directing Corporate segment accounting. Earlier career roles include positions at American Tower and Elavon, Inc. Yates holds an MBA in Finance and a BS in Accounting from Clemson University, complemented by specialized leadership finance training from McCracken Alliance in 2014.
