Mark Schatza

Mark Schatza is a seasoned engineer specializing in signal processing and algorithms with extensive experience across multiple roles in both corporate and research environments. Currently serving as a Senior System Engineer at Inspire Medical Systems since November 2021, Mark focuses on providing systems expertise for new and existing products, emphasizing embedded signal processing algorithms and compliance with regulatory standards. Previously, Mark held positions at Purple Gaze as a Mid Software Engineer, where project versatility was key, and contributed as a Researcher at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, developing a toolkit for neuromodulation experiments. Mark's early experience includes research aimed at improving reading speeds for individuals with macular degeneration and an internship at Anoka County Highway Dept, where skills in wiring and programming were applied. Mark holds a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Minnesota, completed in 2018.
