Hashim Poonawala

Hashim Poonawala is an experienced professional in the engineering and management sectors, currently serving as the Head of Monitoring & Targeting and previously as Optimization Manager at Inspired PLC since May 2021. Prior to this role, Hashim was a Solutions Engineer at Inenco Group, where responsibilities included managing a portfolio of services and ensuring professional delivery within budget. At TR Control Solutions, Hashim served as a Systems Engineer, managing comprehensive energy and environmental projects for over 150 clients, while also handling bespoke software development for energy management solutions. Hashim began career development at Tata Steel as an Industrial Placement Student, managing independent projects and collaborating on significant upgrades. Additional early experience includes work as a Space Utilization Surveyor for the Higher Education Funding Council for England. Hashim holds a B.Eng in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Brunel University of London.
