Patrick Verta

Patrick Verta has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and positions. Most recently, they served as the Executive Vice President of Clinical and Medical Affairs at InspireMD starting in October 2023. Prior to that, they were the President of Axelmed since October 2020.

From September 2022 to July 2023, Patrick worked as the Chief Medical Officer at Canary Medical Inc.

Patrick also held positions at Edwards Lifesciences, where they served as the Vice President of Medical Affairs, Clinical Science and Biometrics from January 2017 to July 2020, and as the Vice President of Medical Affairs - Business Development from May 2015 to January 2017.

Earlier in their career, they were the Chief Medical Officer at Sunshine Heart from August 2013 to August 2014, and the Chief Medical Officer and VP of Clinical Affairs at Neomend from May 2012 to December 2012.

Patrick also worked at Abbott Vascular as the Medical Director of Clinical Research and Business Development from May 2011 to August 2012, as the Director of Worldwide Endovascular Clinical Science and Biometrics from August 2008 to May 2011, and as the Associate Director of Clinical Science & Biometrics from December 2006 to July 2008.

Before joining Abbott Vascular, they were a Clinical Research Manager at Guidant from May 2005 to April 2006.

Lastly, they founded and served as the CEO of Fastphase, inc. from March 2002 to March 2005.

Patrick Verta has a Master of Science in Statistics from Pierre and Marie Curie University. Patrick also holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from École nationale vétérinaire d'Alfort - EnvA. In addition, they have pursued further education in Clinical Trial Design and Management at San Francisco State University, and has also obtained a medical degree (M.D.) from Faculté de Médecine, Université Paris XII.
