Kim Weber has over 25 years of experience in the field of instructional design and training. Kim began their career in 1993 as a Senior IT Consultant at PwC, where they designed, programmed, and tested software enhancements for the United Nations Development Programme and trained users on the software. In 1996, Kim moved to Corporate Express, where they supervised a team of 8 training analysts and managed multiple training schedules and material development projects for 35 sites across the US. In 2004, they joined Staples as an Instructional Designer, where they developed and implemented a training program for a company-wide reporting application and conducted over 100 webinars and instructor-led training sessions. From 2013 to 2017, Kim worked part-time as an Instructional Designer at Compassion International, where they interviewed and collaborated with SMEs to build an online learning module and performed a variety of instructional design tasks. From 2017 to 2019, Kim was an Online Course Instructor and Student Advocate at Guild Education, where they taught students online and guided them to apply their knowledge in practical and professional exercises. Kim is currently working as the Business and HR Manager at InspiringApps, where they build mobile and web apps that help businesses run smarter, faster, and more profitably.
Kim Weber obtained their Bachelor's Degree from the University of Notre Dame in English and Computer Applications. Kim then went on to pursue their MA in Information and Learning Technologies from the University of Colorado Denver, with a focus on Instructional Design and E-Learning.
