Markku Tienhaara

Markku Tienhaara has extensive work experience in the software industry. Markku worked at Insta as the Chief Systems Architect from May 2021 to the present, and prior to that, they held the position of Senior Software Architect from September 2007 to April 2021. Before joining Insta, Markku worked at Flander Oy as a Senior Software Architect from September 2003 to January 2005. Markku also gained experience at Tellabs Oy, starting as a Senior Design Engineer from May 1999 to June 2000, then progressing to the position of Lead Engineer from July 2000 to April 2002, and finally working as a Staff Engineer from May 2002 to August 2003. Before that, Markku worked at ICL Data Oy as a System Analyst from an unknown start date to May 1999, and as a Software Designer from an unknown start date to an unknown end date within the years 1994 to 1996. Markku also worked at Intrinsic Oy as a Development Manager from an unknown start date to an unknown end date within the years 1993 to 1994, and as a System Analyst and Project Manager from an unknown start date to an unknown end date within the years 1990 to 1994. Additionally, Markku gained experience as a part-time teacher at Tampere University of Technology in 1989 and as a temporary assistant at the same university in 1988. Markku also worked as a part-time teacher at Tampere University of Technology in 1987. Markku began their career as a Software Designer at Intrinsic Oy in 1985, and they continued in that role until 1987.

Markku Tienhaara began their education at Linnankosken lukio, where they graduated from high school in 1980. Markku then went on to attend Tampere University of Technology from 1980 to 1990, earning a M.Sc. degree in Software Engineering.
