Jean Bond

Jean Bond serves as the Head of Documentation at Instabase since January 2022, focusing on user-centered documentation. Prior to this, Jean held various roles at Puppet from June 2014 to January 2022, including Manager of Technical Publications, where oversight of a team of eight technical writers was key, along with maintaining team cohesion during the shift to remote work. Jean's experience also includes roles as a Senior Technical Writer and Technical Writer at Puppet, providing crucial documentation support. Additional experience encompasses freelance editing work at Bond Editorial, along with teaching roles at Portland State University. Jean's early career includes positions in technical writing internships and editorial roles at Graphic Arts Center Publishing Company and various newspapers. Jean holds a Master of Arts in Technical Writing from Portland State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Oregon.
