Arun Rajagopal

Arun Rajagopal currently serves as Engineering Manager, Machine Learning at Instacart since October 2025. Previously, Arun held the position of Sr. Director, AI/ML, Search, and Optimizations at adMarketplace from December 2022 to October 2025, where responsibilities included leading teams focused on search, ML-based ad selection, and optimizations. Prior to adMarketplace, Arun was Sr. Director, Data Science and Engineering at Affinity Solutions from November 2015 to December 2022. Arun's earlier experience includes serving as Senior Data Scientist at EY, where machine learning models were developed to optimize technology budgets for major financial institutions, and as Machine Learning Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services, contributing to the development of large-scale recommendation systems and Hadoop-like systems.
