Arturo Fiorellini Bernardis started their work experience in 2017 at TU Delft as a Ph.D. Researcher at the Tera-Hertz Sensing Group. During this time, they managed a team of four researchers and oversaw the design, manufacturing, and measurement of electro-optical sensors for non-invasive biological sample imaging and molecular spectroscopy. Arturo was able to improve the power emitted by photoconductive antennas by 90% through the development and implementation of innovative algorithms. Their contributions resulted in the highest performing THz time-domain sensing and spectroscopy system to date. In 2023, they joined InstaDeep Ltd as a Research Engineer focusing on BioAI.
Arturo Fiorellini Bernardis has a strong educational background in the field of engineering and technology. Arturo began their education journey in 2011 at Politecnico di Milano, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering. Arturo successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2014.
Continuing their academic pursuits, Arturo enrolled at the same institution, Politecnico di Milano, in 2014 for a Master of Science (MS) program in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Their studies in this field lasted for a year, as they completed their MS degree in 2015.
Seeking to expand their knowledge further, Arturo joined Delft University of Technology in 2015 for a Master of Science (MSc) program in Microelectronics. Arturo dedicated two years to their studies and successfully obtained their MSc degree in 2017.
Building upon their strong foundation in engineering and technology, Arturo went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics at Delft University of Technology starting in 2017. This research-intensive program is anticipated to last until 2022, indicating Arturo's commitment to advancing their expertise in the field.
Throughout their education, Arturo also demonstrated their dedication to continuous learning and expanding their skill set. In 2022, they obtained a Deep Learning Specialization certificate from DeepLearning.AI. Additionally, in the same year, they achieved a Google Data Analytics Certificate from Google.
Overall, Arturo Fiorellini Bernardis has a strong educational background in engineering and technology, including a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Master's degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Microelectronics, and is currently pursuing a PhD degree in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics. Arturo has also obtained additional certifications in deep learning and data analytics.
