Russell Hooks

Russell Hooks is a seasoned professional currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Instagift, a prominent digital gift card and ticketing platform, since May 2024. Prior to this, Russell founded Happenin's in the 'Ham, aimed at promoting community engagement in Birmingham. Russell's experience includes a role as Marketing Manager at Daxko, managing digital marketing for 280 clients in the fitness sector, and previous positions in communications and marketing across various organizations, including Lewis & Company, HIGHLINE IMPORTS, B-Metro Magazine, and Job Corps. Russell holds a degree in Business/Commerce from the University of Montevallo and completed the Co.Starters program in Birmingham in 2016.
