Dirkjan Ochtman

Dirkjan Ochtman is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Currently serving as a Freelance Rust expert at XavaMedia Web Services, Dirkjan also holds the position of Chairman at Stichting Rust Nederland, focusing on promoting Rust in the Netherlands and organizing the RustFest 2020 conference. Previously, Dirkjan worked as Chief Technology Officer at Instant Labs, participating in YCombinator's Winter 2022 batch and developing Instant Domains. Additional roles include Staff Software Engineer and Software Engineer for various projects where Rust was utilized for backend development and microservices. Dirkjan has held significant positions at ING Nederland, ActiveVideo, and KenTyde, contributing to projects involving digital asset platforms, distributed ledgers, and asset management solutions.
