Shweta Agrawal

Shweta Agrawal is an experienced Information Scientist at Instem since May 2018, with prior roles including Senior Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati from June 2013 to May 2016 and Research Trainee at Biocon between 2011 and 2012. At the Indian Institute of Technology, Shweta Agrawal focused on Advanced Glycation End Products and Store Operated Calcium Entry in immune cells, employing various molecular biology, immunology, and biochemistry techniques, while also establishing a mammalian cell culture protocol. During the tenure at Biocon, optimization of media and feed components for the production of therapeutic Monoclonal Antibodies for rheumatoid arthritis and breast cancer was a key responsibility. Shweta Agrawal holds a Master's degree in Biomedical Genetics from Vellore Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Genetics, and Biochemistry from Bangalore University.
