Nima Payan

Nima Payan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. They began their career at Ga Design and Planning as a Designer and Project Manager, where they worked on various architectural design projects and coordinated with other engineering teams. They then moved on to Architectural Area Lighting as an Associate Product Design Engineer. In 2014, Nima joined Shire as a Facilities Senior Engineer and Project Leader, where they managed projects focused on facility expansion, process improvement, and regulatory compliance. After Shire, Nima worked at Labyrinth Design Studio and Hyde Engineering + Consulting as a Project Manager. They then transitioned to Beautify Earth, where they served as an individual contributor in program management. Nima's most recent roles were at Kite Pharma, Inc. as a Senior Project Engineer and Senior Engineer for Facilities and Engineering, and at Instil Bio as the Director of Corporate Engineering & Capital Projects.

Nima Payan's education history begins in 2003 when they enrolled at USC to pursue a bachelor's degree in Architecture. They remained at USC until 2008, completing their undergraduate studies.

After obtaining their Bachelor of Arts degree, Nima Payan continued their education at USC from 2008 to 2010. During this period, they pursued a Post Professional Degree in Architecture design from USC and a Master of Building Science and Management from USC Roski School of Art and Design.

In terms of additional certifications, Nima Payan obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in November 2015.
