Norbert Caldera Grau

Norbert Caldera Grau is a geologist currently working at the Institut Cartogràfic i Geològic de Catalunya since February 2023. Previously, Norbert served as a PhD candidate at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona from October 2017 to December 2022, focusing on complex deformation in the hinterland of the western Axial Zone of the Pyrenees during the Alpine orogeny, and leading the initiation of the SEM-CAT students' association in the geology department. Norbert holds a Master of Science in Geological Resources and Geological Engineering from Universidad de Oviedo (2014-2016) and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2010-2014).
