Armelle Blondel

Armelle Blondel is a Directeur de Recherche at INSERM, with a long-standing tenure at Institut Cochin since October 2002, where the focus is on understanding the roles of NOS2 and IL4I1 in amino acid metabolism and their contribution to tumor progression, particularly in early melanoma development in both humans and mouse models. Additionally, Armelle has been a researcher at INSERM since January 2000. Armelle's academic credentials include a post-doctorate in Onco-immunologie from Université de Fribourg earned between 1997 and 1999, a doctorate in Immunologie from Pierre and Marie Curie University obtained in 1996, and a Master 2 from the same university in collaboration with Institut Pasteur completed in 1992. Furthermore, Armelle is currently pursuing an Habilitation à diriger des recherches at Université Paris Cité, which began in 2010.
