Camille Peron

Camille Peron is an experienced researcher specializing in immunology. Currently serving as an Ingénieure d’études in the "Immunologie du diabète" team at Institut Cochin, Camille Peron investigates the role of immune cells, particularly MAIT (Mucosal-Associated T cells), in type 1 diabetes since January 2023. Prior to this role, Camille Peron was a research assistant intern at Bioscar U1132 Inserm, focusing on the influence of osteosarcoma stem cells in anti-tumor immune responses. Earlier, Camille Peron contributed to understanding calcium signaling in B lymphocytes within autoimmune contexts during an internship at Inserm. Camille Peron holds a Master's degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology with a specialization in Translational Immunology and Biotherapies from Sorbonne Université, as well as various degrees in cellular and molecular biology from multiple institutions, including an exchange program at Université de Sherbrooke.
