Giulia Faini

Giulia Faini is a Postdoctoral Researcher with experience in investigating neuronal circuits in the zebrafish visual system using 2-photon optogenetics at Institut de la Vision. Giulia also specializes in temporally precise, high-speed multiphoton optogenetic stimulation in the field of wavefront engineering microscopy. With a background in cellular physiology of cortical microcircuits and Perineuronal Nets modulation of cortical plasticity during adult development, Giulia holds a Ph.D. in Neurosciences from Pierre and Marie Curie University. Additionally, Giulia has completed internships and training in clinical research companies and has a strong educational background in neuroscience and life sciences.
