Daphne Dambournet

Daphne Dambournet is a seasoned professional in the field of cellular and molecular biology, currently serving as Cheffe de projet at the Institut du Cerveau – Paris Brain Institute since December 2023. Previously, Daphne worked as a Senior Scientist in R&D at GOURMEY, where leadership was demonstrated in expanding standards and implementing quality control strategies for product commercialization. At UPSIDE Foods, management of a multidisciplinary team focused on creating an immortalized bovine cell line was a key responsibility, along with the use of project management tools to enhance communication. Daphne's academic background includes a postdoctoral fellowship at UC Berkeley, where significant research on clathrin-mediated endocytosis was conducted, and consulting roles for genome-edited human induced pluripotent stem cells. The educational foundation is a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Pierre and Marie Curie University, completed in 2011.
