Lorena Solarte Fajardo

Lorena Solarte Fajardo is currently a Business Development Associate in the Innovation Department at the Institut du Cerveau – Paris Brain Institute since September 2023. Previously, Lorena held the position of Business Development Engineer at the Centre national de la recherche scientifique from November 2022 to September 2023, and worked as a Sales Engineer at NETRI from May 2022 to July 2022, where responsibilities included client prospecting and product guidance. Lorena also served as a Deeptech Transfer Optimization Project Manager at Bpifrance from February 2021 to February 2022, focusing on technology transfer and venture support. Earlier experience includes internships at Collège de France and Sorbonne Université in research and development roles, as well as positions in sales and technical management at Gonmyers Colombia and RP MEDICAS S.A. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Innovation and Research Valorisation from Université Paris-Saclay, alongside other advanced degrees in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from prestigious institutions.
