Michael Dyrmose

Michael Dyrmose has a diverse work experience. Michael is currently working as a Partner & Head of Offensive Operations at Institut for Cyber Risk since October 2020. Prior to this, they had a role as a Landstræner, Cyberlandsholdet at Forsvarets Efterretningstjeneste (FE) from March 2017 with responsibilities such as squad selection, technical training, and competition strategy. Michael also worked as a Cyber Security Specialist and Penetration Tester at the same company from September 2013 to October 2020. Before joining FE, they were the CEO and Developer at Dyrmose Consulting from 2007 to 2017. Michael also worked as a Security Consultant at Dubex A/S from December 2008 to August 2013 and as an IT Supporter at Finsen Laboratory from April 2004 to December 2007.

Michael Dyrmose completed their education in Computer Science with a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree from DTU - Technical University of Denmark. Michael attended this institution from 2002 to 2008. Prior to that, they studied at Silkeborg Amtsgymnasium from 1998 to 2001, and at Balleskolen, Silkeborg from 1988 to 1998. Additionally, Michael has obtained multiple certifications in the field of cybersecurity, including Offensive Security Experienced Penetration Tester (OSEP), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED), GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA), GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN), GIAC Response and Industrial Defense (GRID), and GIAC Security Expert (GSE).
