Fabrice Barlesi

Fabrice Barlesi has an extensive work experience. Fabrice served as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Medical Officer at Gustave Roussy, starting in August 2021 and January 2020 respectively. Prior to that, they held the position of Responsable scientifique et technique du RHU PIONeeR at Aix-Marseille Université since January 2017. Earlier in their career, they worked at APHM (Assistance Publique - Hopitaux de Marseille) where they were the Oncologie Multidisciplinaire & Innovations Thérapeutiques (Chef de Service) and later became the Coordinateur du Centre d'Essais Précoces en Cancérologie de Marseille CLIP2 from January 2011 to January 2020.

Fabrice Barlesi obtained their MD and PhD degrees in Medicine from Aix-Marseille University, where they studied from 1988 to 2007. In 2007, they attended ESSEC Business School, specializing in Management Hospitalier, and completed their degree in 2008.
