Claire Levallois-Barth is an Associate Professor in Digital Law at IMT Atlantique since October 2023. Currently, Claire leads Work Package 2 on GDPR Implementation at Potential and is the holder of the Research Chair in Data Commons at IMT, alongside coordinating the Research Chair on Values and Policies of Personal Information. Claire serves as a member of the Data and AI Ethics Council at Orange and contributes to the French National Digital Ethics Committee under the Comité consultatif national d’éthique since December 2019. Additionally, Claire has been part of the Data Privacy Expert Panel at AXA since February 2015. Previously, Claire held an Associate Professor position in Digital Law at Télécom Paris until September 2023 and served as Secretary General for AFCDP from January 2004 to October 2015. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Law in International Law and Legal Studies from Télécom Bretagne and Université de Rennes I, a Master of Laws from the University of Exeter, and an Erasmus degree from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen.
