Aloïs Kirchner

Senior Fellow "politique Industrielle" at Institut Montaigne

Aloïs Kirchner is an experienced professional currently serving as Directeur mass transit, transition énergétique et affaires industrielles at Groupe Keolis since 2021, overseeing multiple subsidiaries that manage tramway and metro lines, as well as commercial development in Île-de-France. In addition, Kirchner has been a Senior Fellow in industrial policy at Institut Montaigne since 2010, authoring several publications on engineering education and circular economy. Prior to these roles, Kirchner held key positions at the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Recovery from 2017 to 2021, providing counsel on industrial affairs to prominent ministers. Other significant experiences include working as an Inspecteur des finances and Chief of Economic Development for DIRECCTE Lorraine, as well as project engineering and consulting roles in various sectors. Kirchner holds degrees from the Corps des Mines and École Polytechnique.
