Established in 1920 with the name “Technische Hogeschool”, Institut Teknologi Bandung—or ITB for short—is the oldest technical university in Indonesia. ITB now has 12 faculties or schools with 50 bachelor study programs, 52 master’s programs, 27 doctor’s programs, and 2 professional programs. ITB’s vision is to be an outstanding, distinguished, independent, and internationally recognized university that leads changes towards welfare improvement of Indonesian nations and the world.
