Helmut Engelhardt is currently serving as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at Lehrstuhl FAPS since January 2023. Prior to this, Helmut Engelhardt worked as a Forschungs- und Entwicklungsingenieur at Evocortex from January 2019 to January 2023, focusing on the development of a markerless localization system (ELM), an SDK for Optris thermal cameras, and image processing projects. Helmut Engelhardt gained experience as a student assistant at Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm, participating in algorithm research for 3D mine shaft deformation detection as part of the iDeepMon project from October 2016 to May 2018. Earlier in the career, Helmut Engelhardt worked as an application developer at CTK Gesellschaft für Computertechnologie mbH from December 2008 to October 2016. Helmut Engelhardt holds a Master of Science in Applied Research and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Information Technology from Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm, along with a qualification as a state-certified technical assistant in computer science from Staatliche Berufsschule Roth.
