Marius Oesterheld

Marius Oesterheld is currently a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin since March 2023. Prior to this role, Marius served as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at Wissenschaft im Dialog from June 2021 to February 2023, where responsibilities included scientific analyses, coordination of research teams, and event organization. Marius completed a PhD candidacy at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development from October 2016 to September 2020 and held the position of Global Humanities Junior Fellow (Visiting Scholar) at The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2016. Additional experience includes editorial work for the student journal Global Histories and project management roles at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and other organizations. Marius holds a Master of Arts in Global History from Freie Universität Berlin and a Bachelor of Arts in History and European Ethnology from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
