Carmen Ortiz

Carmen Ortiz is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in student services and program management, currently serving as a Study Abroad Advisor at IAU Institute for American Universities since January 2022. In this role, Carmen manages over 500 student accounts annually, provides pre-departure support, and maintains collaborations with numerous international partners. Previous positions include Social Media Manager for Jess Guilbeaux, where Carmen negotiated contracts and analyzed campaign performance, and Administrative Associate at The University of Kansas, where Carmen trained staff and enhanced departmental communication. Carmen’s background also includes customer service at EF Education First and program coordination with Global Academic Ventures.
