Darren Shaw

Darren Shaw has extensive experience in the field of education and assessment. Darren is currently serving as the Head of Community of Practice for Assessment and Quality Assurance at IfATE, where Darren is responsible for external quality assurance of apprenticeships and end-point assessment operations. Prior to this, Darren held various roles including Deputy Director for Change Implementation and Head of Assessment at IfATE. Darren has also worked at organizations such as the National Foundation for Educational Research, Department for Education, and QCA in roles involving test development, qualification management, and teacher training. Darren holds degrees in educational assessment, psychology, and secondary science, showcasing their strong educational background.
